Supply Chain Executive

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Assist in material planning, scheduling and purchasing, as well as stock shipping and receiving functions of the organisation
  • Maintain supply and delivery schedules
  • Perform proper recording, storage and tracking of all items purchased for accurate inventory
  • Identify primary and alternate sources for each item needed and encourage suppliers to remain competitive to achieve best value
  • Negotiate terms with suppliers, vendors and freight forwarders to obtain necessary materials and products in timely and most cost-effective manner
  • Manage the relationships between many different suppliers and freight forwarders
  • Monitor supplier performance to assess ability to meet quality and delivery requirements
  • Supervise in-bound freight and carrier functions, ensuring customs regulations compliance

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience with China Supplier is the most important criteria for this position
  • At least a Diploma in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline
  • Experience in purchasing and logistics planning will be an advantage
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Strong in planning and highly organised
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programmes, especially Excel
  • Able to communicate effectively and work well with others
